A Non-Surgical Solution For Uplifting Drooping Buttocks

Non-Surgical Butt Lift

It is common for people coming to our practice to have buttocks that appear to be the typical type of a thin person, that is to say, with no greater relevance in terms of volume; at first sight the approach for these cases would be a conventional Bioplasty. A deeper evaluation though may reveal a certain degree of flaccidity and sagginess that cannot be corrected only through infiltration of tissue filler (Buttock Augmentation).

For these cases the most recommended procedure is to perform a combination of minimally invasive non-surgical buttock lift along with Bioplasty (PMMA tissue filler infiltration).

As in the case of drooping and flaccid breasts, the solution does not consist in placing large implants to try and correct the ptosis (drooping), as many colleagues do, but by simultaneously correcting the fall and lack of volume (a.k.a. mastopexy with augmentation); however, in the case of surgical buttlift, the technique is aesthetically unacceptable.

In these cases, the minimally invasive non-surgical approach for glutes lifting, which consists of compacting and gathering together the tissues that have been scattered by the flaccidity using high strength and long-lasting polyamide tensor fibers, offers greater advantages with respect to the surgical operation and achieves the optimization of the existing volume by preparing the glutei to receive the infiltration of the tissue filling substance which will be applied in a now restricted space favoring a better projection and definition of the gluteal zone.

It is important to emphasize that flaccid buttocks, even if they do not show a sharp fall, are detectable due to their flat and soft condition plus a lack of internal consistency; one can notice the amount of flaccidity by pinching skin and managing to hold a good amount of flesh between the fingers, as well as trying to repositioning the buttocks without too much effort with both hands and noting the difference.

By gathering and compacting weak and flaccid tissues, we manage to considerably reduce the inner hollow chamber, which would otherwise lead to an excessive infiltration in the attempt to fill a space without well-established boundaries serving as a containment for the filling substance and contributing to a better definition and projection of the gluteal area.

On the other hand slim people can opt only for compacting their buttock tissues with these hi-tech tensor fibers and complementing the procedure with a moderate Bioplasty mainly to tighten the skin.

The number of people who have sagging, flaccid or deformed buttocks is large. It is often believed that only buttock augmentation can solve the underlying problem of glutes droopiness. We have more than enough reasons, based on our extensive experience, to affirm with absolute confidence that this approach is not entirely correct, let us elaborate on this.

The current proposals that nowadays exist on the market for flaccid and droopy buttocks do not address the issue in its entire dimension but rather not even partially.

For example in the case of fat injections, if expected buttock augmentation is not met, much less will be done to correct the fall.

Something similar happens with Sculptra injections with the aggravating factor that due to their high cost and very limited lifespan they can never reach the required level as to be able to talk about augmentation, not to mention droopiness.

On the other hand, if we talk about a surgical lifting, the issue regarding scarring is really relevant and nobody wants to accept such notorious marks.

Neither is the placement of gluteal prosthesis a solution to the fall since this operation has a high rejection rate without taking into account that even when it manages to overcome the complications inherent to the technique itself, the general final outcome is not satisfactory.

Finally, there are injections of heavy substances such as silicone, which are offered in massive quantities. The only purpose of these injections is to enlarge the buttocks, regardless of the previous conditions of droopiness and flaccidity. This of course will worsen in a short period of time the dropping issue.

What Really Is a Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

Our successful non-surgical proposal for sagging and flaccid buttocks entails the insertion of High Strength Anchoring Fibers, under local anesthesia, using a thin cannula into the subgluteal fold leading it to an exit point in the upper gluteal area. This allows the specialist to exert an ascending traction in such a way that the gripping hooks of the fibers, when deeply anchored to the internal planes of the gluteus achieve the required lifting effect. We usually insert 15 to 20 fibers on each side to ensure firmness and strength. Finally both the entry and exit points of the cannula are duly sealed with a medical adhesive.

This technique is indicated for sagging, flaccid or heavy buttocks due to injections of silicone or various other reasons such as drastic weight loss.

Once the supporting mechanism of the anchoring fibers is in place, the procedure may be enhanced through the instillation of legitimate PMMA biocompatible substance (Bioplasty) enriching the overall final result especially in cases that require it.

We have been using with great success these high strength anchoring fibers which have a grip system sort of teeth or hooks that allow to elevate the descended tissues, anchoring deeply into them.
